Hi there pilots Could someone help me out with the correct Transition Altitudes for the following airports? I have bee checking someone of the Pireps on the web site and I notice most people use 1800 but surly this is incorrect? I live near FAJS Johannesburg Intl South Africa and the transition Altitude is 8000. DUBAI INTL (OMDB) SCHIPHOL (EHAM) CHENNAI INTL (VOMM) SINGAPORE CHANGI (WSSS) HEATHROW (EGLL) RICKENBACKER INTL (KLCK) PRESTWICK (EGPK) Thx

"Hi Mark The TA and the TL of these airports are (I have looked for them in Jeppesen charts): DUBAI INTL (OMDB): TA 13000'. TL: FL150 SCHIPHOL (EHAM): TA 3000', TL by ATC CHENNAI INTL (VOMM): TA 4000', TL by ATC SINGAPORE CHANGI (WSSS): TA 11000'. TL FL130 HEATHROW (EGLL): TA 6000', TL by ATC RICKENBACKER INTL (KLCK): Not shown in the charts, but it is in USA, so I suppose TA18000' PRESTWICK (EGPK): TA 6000', TL by ATC I hope this information helps you <!--emo&;)--><!--endemo-->"

"I think only in North America is the transition at 18,000 ft..... Take a look at the charts in the ""Charts"" section. Each one should have the transitions on them."
