Exciting Opportunites

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

Maybe they will get us a cigar run to Cuba and drop some snow shovels off in Winnipeg. There will be much more to come on this topic over the next 60 days so those of you that are left should stay tuned. I can imagine that some pilots do connect the name ""Ralph Tofflemire"" to the RFP 747-200, and think that GC is a va based on the RFP 747, instead of the real world Polar Air? Wijnand"

"Well, just looking over the posts here one more time, I figured we already were flying polar routes, but it appears we were not, Looks like there will be fewer flights to bid on, as there are not as many cities polar flys out of, probably less open board flights then. I agree the aircraft should be what the real airline flys, and since this va is Ralphs baby, he can call the shots on how it is run, I am looking forward to the 744, as i have not yet purchased it, but I will when we can fly them, but as others have said, load me up and point me in whatever direction, I am having lots of fun with the 742, dispite some very poor landings. I dont suppose , Ralph you can talk polar into flying in and out of oshawa, so what it has a short runway, im sure the neighbors wont mind a 747 going throught thier backyards <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> ed mosier 1287"

"We were flying a lot of real Polar routes but we had added many, many more to please pilots in regions that wanted to fly from their favorite airport. It is not a matter of Ralph calling the shots but more of a matter that most of us are part of Globe Cargo with the hopes that we attempt to stick fairly close to realism. We strayed from that and when talking it over with the admins, we decided to try to get back to our roots again. Justin just worked out our NSA routes versus the real Polar NSA routes and we have over double the flights each week. We sure don't need them considering the amount of routes that are not bid on and not even used in the open board system. "

"Well, I know it will all work out. I hope the Charters will kind of pick up a little and maybe that will help out with being able to keep the hours going. <!--emo&:)--><!--endemo-->"
