"Did we ever get this new tutorial set up? I am still trying to figure out how to even get this thing programmed from the ramp.... Seems like I am not figuring how to properly enter the coordinates from FS when I hit shift Z it shows coordinates for ramp position and its just not working for me. Probably something simple, but I am really trying to update my realism and fly a bit more seriously."

I'll try and shed some light here for you. When you input coordinates in the INS, lets say they are 44 degrees 41.47 minutes north and 75 degrees 26.34 minutes west, the procedure is as follows: (press INSERT button) then enter N 44 41.5 (press INSERT again) enter W 075 26.3 (INSERT again) I'm assuming after you enter the position in each INS CDU guage that you're going to the overhead and switching the switch from standby to align on each MSU and letting the API run down to 0. You can either use the quick align (hidden click spot upper right on CDU) or the realistic alignment option. During the alignment period you can be entering your waypoints (up to nine). After you enter your waypoints or after the API gets to 0, or at least until the green light comes on on the control panels (API of 5 or less) you switch the overhead MSU switches to NAV before you release the brakes. There are some things that I've left out of this reply, namely turning on the CDU and testing the display etc. that I'm also assuming you know how to do. If you're not doing this the API will never get below 6. Also, make sure your parking brake is set when aligning. If all of this sounds like a foreign language to you and you don't understand any of it, I'll assume you haven't looked at the included documentation that came with the CIVA-INS yet <!--emo&:)-->[img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img]<!--endemo--> . AND THAT'S O.K. Take a look at it and read it carefully. It will clear a lot of things up. "Mark, sorry I missed your reply to my post, thanks for the info. Justin sent me alot of stuff I think will help me. I was getting lost on rounding the numbers properly, so I just use the dispatch generator and use the rounded off numbers. I am going to run a couple of practice runs before trying it on an actual Globe flight assignment. Take care! A tutoiral would be great though.... Whoever promised it, should try to get it on here. Many would benefit from it."
