"Hi fella,s I recently installed Radar Contact on my system, apart from one or two issues with the Robotic voices, has anyone with this add-on experienced the PC locking up on take-off ?, I know its a problem with Radar Contact because as soon as I close the programme the take-off resumes. Safe Landings. Mike "

I had RC3 and now RC4 and it never locked up in any phase of the flight. Do you have the latest version of FSUIPC? You might want to check the RC forum on Avsim. They'll help you out."

"When you start RC4, do you click to check for updates and rebuild the database?"

"I just received my RC4. Installed it and didn't seem to work. Contacted Rick Thompson of RC4. Found that: 1) Whenever I use the default flightplanner, everything works like it should. 2) Whenever I use the Dispatch Generator generated flightplan, RC4 refuses. Do any of you guys have this problem? If so please let my know. In the meanwhile, Rick (RC4) is checking what might cause the problem. Mike, if you still have problems contact Rick Thompson rick@jdtllc.com. He's a very helpfull guy. regards, Roderick"

"Problem Solved! the fault lay with FDC which when used in conjuction with RC4 froze at the moment ""Airspeed Active"" was called, the latest FDC update has a patch to cover this,so any guy,s using FDC with RC4 need V3.1.0 Safe Landings Mike "

"Heh heh, if I ever hit the lottery I have told my wife that I am going to purchase a full motion flight simulator. Maybe several. You know there has to be lots of classic simulators out there (727,732,742's etc). Dream on!"
