Polar Air DVD

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Hi, I'm new around here, but I just wanted to mention that I recently picked up the Polar Air DVD from Just Planes. Just curious if everyone knows about it? It features flights on both the -200F and the -400F and is 205 minutes long. Really gives you a fellt for the atmosphere of Polar operations, and obviouslly covers a lot of the routes that are flown by this VA. It also takes you literally around the globe visiting hubs in all three regions. If you watch closely there is a lot to be learned from it, along with much enjoyment and a lot of replay value. It includes footage from about 10 individual flights with different crews. There are several crew presentations, so you get a lot of perspective about the two aircraft. You can learn more about it at http://www.worldairroutes.com/Polar.html For what its worth, there is a similar video for Atlas, but I have not seen that one. I have the Polar and Atlas DVD. Another one that is very good is the MK Airlines DVD (with DC8 and 742 cargo). Also the 747-200 Classic from ITVV is a must.

"I've got both the Atlas and Polar DVD's as well. I'm so addicted to them, I've got them on my iPod. When I'm on a road trip, I can watch them while on the airplane or the hotel room."
