Going under the knife...

"Hi Guys, As some of you know, I am going in for heart surgery. The date is set for June 8th, so I'll be out of commission for a week or two. I'll get a couple of flights done this weekend and then prepare for the procedure. Thanks to all for the encouraging words and prayers, and I'll let you know when I'm back in the cockpit. "Thanks for the kind words and prayers. I hope to be flying within a week or two after the surgery. I'll be off work for 8 weeks, so I'll get to build my hours for sure. I'm currently flying PO602 over the Atlantic for my scheduled June flight and have another leg and then an Atlas flight... I have been feeling well but know I must go through this. Best wishes Mark. I've had a little of the heart stuff myself. Don't be in a rush to get back to things too quickly. Recovery time is very important. There will still be plenty of that time off left for some good flying! [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif[/img]
