"Hello! Looking at my own pireps I was very surprised to see that for 2 very similar flights (just over 3h) my fuel consumption was 81,000lbs foe one and 168,000 for the other! When I loaded my D & C cockpit from the saved flights, I had around 200,000lbs in the tanks. This was too much for a 3h flight, so I reduced the fuel onboard to around 100,000lbs. When I did this after starting the log the pirep did not take the changes into account and my consumption looked enormous at the end. I should have known that the key is to make all fuel adjustments BEFORE starting the log otherwise management will think we are throwing expensive fuel overboard and we can kiss good bye to promotion! Beware! <!--emo&--><!--endemo--> Bons vols"

I was comparing fuel consuption from VHHH to RKSI (about 4 hours) and had noticed similar. Starting FSACARS is the last thing I do before pushback out of the blocks.

"I find the best way is to config Fsacars to start when the Parking Brake is released prior to Pushback Safe Landings,Mike"
