FSACARS Help

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"I have filled in the options data for mail, but am getting an error. What data goes in the ""mail server"" field? Do I put in my outgoing mail server name? My error message is ""Response: 501 char not allowed - <hubmail@address* goes here > remove blank char"". Is user name and password my email user name and password? Any help is appreciated..."

"Thanks for the replies. I have checked with my ISP (had actually done that to start with). They told me my outgoing mail server is ""smpt.comcast.net"". But when I enter that data in the FSACARS options, I get the above error message. There must be something in the SMPT protocol that is causing a problem with the FSACARS program. Does anyone else use Comcast as their ISP? Otherwise, is it possible to just save the log and hand email after logging off FS? I truly want to get my first flight done here!! I have been trying for 4 days to complete it!!!!! <!--emo&--><!--endemo-->"

In the folder FSACARS find the GTI and PAC ini files if I am correct. You might whant to check this link: <a href='http://globecargo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=310' target='_blank'> Automatic e-mail logs, FSACars 4.0.4</a>"

"Ooopsss.... Excuse me while I clean this egg off my face (red face at that). There, that's better. I didn't have the recipient email filed in in the INI file. It's fixed and all works now. <!--emo&:P--><!--endemo-->"
