Regional Manager Recruitment

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"To all PILOTS in the European & Middle East Region of Globe Cargo. (if other regions wish to apply please request a transfer to your Regional Manager first) Due to an impending change in the structure of Globe Cargo we require a new REGIONAL MANAGER and ASSISTANT REGIONAL MANAGER for the Middle East and European region. The duties for both posts involve:- 1. Processing applications from new Pilots 2. Monitoring Pilot's activity and ensuring that Globe Rules are being followed 3. Carrying out Pilot maintenance (Processing leave of absence requests, promotions etc) 4. Editing and entering PIREPS when Pilots have dificulties with FSACARS or FSFlightKeeper 5. Contributing to management discussions and having input into new procedures / policies 6. General assistance and help to pilots and other management queries. These duties should not take up a lot of time - 1 hour or so a week with a little extra time at month end for checking activity. The best way to run the region is a little bit of work often, 10-15 minutes a day is usually enough. There is plenty of help available from myself and other managers to get you started so you will not be left wondering how to do things. These are interesting and rewarding positions so if you would like to join the management team and make a difference to an excellent VA here is your opportunity. Please send applications to em@globecarg.org giving:- Name, Pilot Number, Age, Position being applied for and any relevant information that may help us in selecting the most suitable candidate. Experience of VA management is NOT required - willingness to dedicate a little time on a regular basis and trying to make a positive contribution are the most important factors. Applications will be accepted up to midnight Sunday 16th October 2005."
