First Flight - FSFK Crashed at the End

Here is where the coffee machine and Coke machine are kept. Please clean up after yourself and do not remove the magazines from this area. A good place to exchange thoughts with Operations personel and other pilots.

"Hello, I just finished my 1st flight. I chose an open flight (KORD-CYRB), and about 2 hours out I looked at the map and realized that CYRB is a 6,400 ft runway <!--emo&:)--><!--endemo--> Yee-Haw!! I landed at about 500,000 lbs with no problem, was rather proud of myself, and then FSFK crashed when I exited FS2004. I lost the whole flight in my log <!--emo&:(--><!--endemo--> It was a great low-vis night landing in snow, too."

"Hi Mike, Yes, I have the option selected where FSFK disconnects when the engines shut down. However, I ended FS2004 and then went to FSFK which was locked up. When I restarted FSFK the flight wasn't in the log. Perhaps I shouldn't exit out of FS2004 until I make sure that the flight is saved. "

Safe Landings, Mike <!--emo&:D--><!--endemo-->"

"Hello All, I am shutting down FS2004 after FSFK disconnects and the PIREP is sent/saved which solves the problem. I like FSFK, it's a good product. I see where it earned 5 stars on the avsim review. It makes me a little nervous, though....now I'm much more concerned with that vertical speed on touchdown <!--emo&:)--><!--endemo--> "
