Hi All

Just joined today (pilot # 1943). I have a few questions


1. Do we have company gates at any airports?
2. When i looked at my first flight i chose an open flight from polar eddl> limc using AC N408MC. When i looked to see the condition of the AC it says it is at KORD
therefore do i use this AC or not. IF i do then why is the location of the fleet recorded?

3. DO we stilll use FSACARS as this is still mentioned in the pilot manual?
4. How are AirCraft fails set?
4. Where do i get the Polar graphic for my signature block

1. We don't have the specific parkings for Polar/Atlas so park at any Cargo Apron at destination unless you know were Polar/Atlas park at a specified airport.
2. Aircraft position is not updated regularly so take the aircraft assigned to your flight buit don't forget to check for any mechanical issues (MEL) before the flight.
3. You can still use FSACARS but it is not supported anymore. GCP or FSFK (payware but with a discount are now being used).
4. You can set failures in FS.

Craig posted some real world Polar parking locations for some airports a couple of years ago, but I can't find the original post. Below is a copy of the part I copied that pertains to parking. Should still be valid for most places....

KJFK parking is confusing because we park at different locations depending on the type of flights. For scheduled service we park next to the KAL building off taxiway intersection SA off "B" For ferry flights to military destinations like KDOV, KCHS, KWRI we park across from the cargo area off taxiway "S". For flight that are done for Qantas or Airatalia ( Atlas does most of these) we park infront of NCA cargo building "CE" taxiway between FDX and NWA

KORD - Northeast Ramp

KATL - South Cargo Ramp bay 5

KMIA - Western U Cargo area

KLAX - South Side infront of JAL building with overflow spots infront of NCA building

PANC - End of 25R off of "A" straight ahead

ZSPD - Cargo Ramp 3 across int "A11" "A12" spots 301-307

RJAA - Northern end 34L/16R across from int "P1" "P2" off taxiway "A" spots 209-212

VHHH - infront of HACTL Cargo terminal off "K" intersection "L2"

RKSI - East cargo ramp off "D" intersection "D3" first building on left

EGPK - Ramp "B" off taxiway "R"

EHAM - Ramp "S" off RWY 6/24 int "S2"
