Question to the computer types out there:
I have a Samsung 26 in. monitor - I checked the specs and it is 1920x1200 res. The question is this: what settings should i have on FSX. It is currently at: 1920x1200x32. Should I have it set for this or somthing else?
Thanks
peter

Re: Monitor Resolution
Hi Peter
I have the same monitor and have it set at 1280 by 1024 X 32 which seems OK. It will go to 1920 by 1200 but I have a second monitor which is not so good and 1280 by 1024 is as far as it will go, so I set them the same.
I don't think it makes that much difference and depends on how fast your video card is, but your settings on FSX are the important ones. I have mine set the same as what is set on the monitor. I read somewhere this is the best thing to do.
I would suggest to set the FSX display to 1920 by 1200 and check your frame rates and how the visuals are, and try different settings to see how it all looks and performs. I have tried 1920 by 1200 and it doesn't seem to make too much difference, except to make everything so small on the monitor, and for me, too hard to see.

John
