Speaking of too close for comfort...

Just today, we pushed back to head off to YWG for our last out and back of the 4 day trip. Our heads our down doing a cross bleed start (&^@&# broken APU)... Capt jumps on the radio, MSP Ground, "STOP THE PUSH NOW!!!" The plane from the gate next to us was pushing back while we were already disconnected and their tail was headed straight for our cockpit. The &@@#$%@#!^(*&^$@@@)(^@#@*&^(*&)@$(&@#^%%@!^$&@*&$(#*$ wingwalkers weren't @@^*&^#&(*@&^@#ing paying attention. They stopped about 30 feet from us. If you think 30 feet is plenty of room, that's less than half the wingspan of the CRJ2.

With that said, I'm sure that UAL guy was at fault from the screenshot above.

I like to eat A320 tail with crushed glass, bent sheet metal, provolone cheese, lettuce ,tomato, mayo with freedom fries and a pickle on the side. The wing walkers union I'm sure will be contacting Justin soon with the cease and desist order.

To be honest with you though Justin, what's worse this time of year than a Minneapolis to Winnepeg flight? Bet you were hoping for global warming! Those walk arounds must be very quick!

The worst part was with the broken APU and snow in YWG we had to do depressurized takeoff and landing. It was our third 12 1/2 hour duty day in a row and third 5 leg day in a row. This is how mistakes can be made (unless you are the almighty God of aviation, Sully). Thankfully we were able to pull it off.

Mistakes made with unpressurized takeoffs happen frequently with small Lear jets. Payne Stewart could not be reached for comment.

2 points:

1. This thread has brightened up an otherwise horrible past three days for me, so thanks alot. :D

And 2. I don't think the NWA "Cockpit Distraction" jokes are going to get old for quite some time.

One more thing,
