While on my takeoff roll from VCV the EGT on all three engines red lined for a couple seconds. I used autothrottles after the engines stabilized and had flex 50 entered. I guess autothrottles don't take into account EGT limits?...they just set the commanded power? ....I must of done a procedure wrong. It was very hot in VCV, 37C. Should have I used flex 60 then?
Any advice and guidance so as I don't cost the company millions would be appreciated.

Re: PMDG MD-11F Auto Throttle ?
The MD11 (real version or FS version) does not margin EGT, with either the PW or GE variants. In very hot weather it is possible to have high EGT. You are allowed 900° for 5 seconds at T/O power.
