Ferry/Reposition Flights

Post by Agustine Juarez 2988 »

Hi,
I was looking at the Atlas Charter's that are available to bid on currently. My question is, on ACARS is there a feature to fly a charter flight one that's not on the flight board to the location of the Atlas Charter? For example the Atlas Charter flight LAS-DTW we have no incoming flights into LAS from anywhere. Can I charter a reposition the aircraft to LAS with ACARS or that's not possible? Just wondering :)

Thanks!

You have to choose a flight that is on the board.

To expand on Louis' response, the only flights allowed that are not posted on the website (Bid flights, open board flights, atlas/titan charters) are VATSIM/IVAO events or officially sanctioned flights of other VA's. There's a section in the Pilot Manual regarding these flights.

GCP can be setup for any flight. Leave the Select Flight dropdown blank and simply enter the flight information in the appropriate boxes. The Select Flight dropdown is just for auto-populating the flight information boxes, it doesn't lock the program or anything if a flight isn't selected from there.
